I swear to God Mageil isn't gay. He's just having...a moment.

Anyway;

tl;dr: Mageil is the chief warden of Zurraith Prison, dubbed strongest man in the world.

Mageil grew up very sick. The prince was weak and frail, and though he was loved, he understood why his parents loved his younger brother so much; Karrius could run and play, he grew wings at such a small age, he was a natural at using fire. While his brother and father were training, he went outside to see what they were doing, and in a freak chain of events, showed that he was a host, his parasite a rare, three-headed, poison dragon. He was attacked, brought down, and forced back into his human form, stunned, shocked, and eventually passed out.

Poison dragons absolutely must drink poison as much, if not more, than water. Yes. Drink it. They live off of that stuff, and after the first few cups, Mageil was...stronger; he could walk on his own, his piercing red eyes were a cool, calm amber, and he was...perfect.

However, he realized that his parents were more in tune with Karrius' moods and powers, and feeling his brother was much stronger than him, stepped down as prince of Province 5. Years later, having gotten used to his new dragon form, Mageil was about fifteen and was selected as chief warden Jake's apprentice. He accepted and traveled from east cost to the west cost, meeting Sammy and Hizlor, and soon Tryu. He was mocked, yes, and taken advantage of for being such a strong host (poison dragons were world renowned for being the strongest, right next to metal dragons).

Tyru was the only one who ever listened to him, but they had such a bad relationship that enemy wasn't even the word. Slowly they started to become friends, and after Mageil saved Tyru from a bad accident, they were even closer. From then it's been a straightforward path; Mageil met a girl named Jilly, and years later, they have a son, Drig, and daughter, Amate.

Pretty much, Mageil seems to be heartless, merciless, and cruel. He sets and performs the executions of the most horrible criminals, he bares his sharp teeth and flicks his forked tongue when thinking, and being dubbed the strongest man in the world has caused people to become downright terrified of him. Those who know him do say he is exactly like that, but when he is on vacation at home, or the day is over at the prison (except for vacation, his home IS the prison), he can act like a child. He teams up with Tyru and together the duo do the most stupid things anyone could think up. Mageil also takes care of his niece and apprentice, Shinzu, who ran away from home without thinking and was 'adopted' by her uncle.

For some unholy reason Mageil his horrible at parenting. Tyru has beat him multiple times upside the head for doing something stupid to his children, and in general, Mageil lets his wife do the whole parent thing. He loves his children, but even Jilly agrees he can be a (mental) safety hazard.

Mageil fights with either a long fire staff or a huge scythe. His movements are like a dancer's- his parents were great dancers and taught him how to incorporate it into his attacks- and often times, when not doing anything else, is up in his office playing his violin. Mageil absolutely loves strawberries. He cannot get enough of them.

Poison cannot hurt him, but his is vulnerable to fire.

Because his dragon has three heads and each one has a different personality, marks have been ingrained on the dragon's face; an oval for the calmest head, a circle for the most anxious, and fang marks for the angriest. The markings on his face shifted and form either of those three markings depending on his mood; when he feels a mood beyond those three, the markings remain fangs. It's sort of like...triple personalities, because when completely enraged beyond comprehension, the marks flash back and forth.

Things Mageil cannot do include: baking and cooking, gardening, deep conversations with people he doesn't know, take care of other peoples' children, sit still for long periods of time, stay calm, share things with his children (because his childhood was a freaking FAIL), and think straight in awkward or embarrassing situations.
